MB Inspection's commitment to safety and providing first class specialist training is mirrored in the development of the standards which govern the industry.

As a founder member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, the company has been represented and active in ensuring that equitable levels of competence and training have been established. The company is BSI registered and approved to ISO 9002.

The company has qualified IRATA approved assessors, auditors and trainers as staff members. Additionally, key staff are certified to NEBOSH general and diploma standard.

We specialise in offering training in many areas:

• Industrial Rope Access Trade Association courses (all levels) to BS7985:2002
• Access and Rescue training courses designed for the specific requirements of the client
• Confined Spaces Training
• Down Leg Competency Training

The training currently takes place in both our large indoor facilities in Falkirk and in Aberdeen.

IRATA ROPE ACCESS TRAINING

• The company is one of the largest IRATA training providers and is equipped to train to all levels.
• Training staff are appropriately qualified and have a wealth of practical industrial experience.
• Methods of instruction reflect the principle that the use of ropes is a means to gain safe and efficient access/egress to and from the work site and that other methods of work positioning may be appropriate.
• We aim to provide a wider focus for trainees in order that they are better prepared for the industrial environment and not only competent in the manipulation of rope access techniques.
• The measure of our success is based upon our results. We currently have a 97% pass rate.

TRAINING

We have developed work procedures and training programmes for a variety of organisations. By drawing on our expert knowledge and professional training courses, our clients can carry out work tasks safely and efficiently, within current guidelines and standards.

If your work involves heights, exposed or remote sites, restricted or confined areas, then we can provide you with appropriate training, equipment and where necessary, supervision.

Specific tasks which historically have been prohibitively expensive, or have become logistical and operational minefields because of the access methods used, can be performed safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
