MB Inspection is accredited by UKAS as an Inspection Body, Registration Nos. 070 and 0143.

The accreditation’s cover the following:

• In-Service Inspection of Major, Intermediate and Minor pressure systems and Pipe-work (Managed from Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth).
• Development and Certification of Written Schemes of Examination for Major, Intermediate and Minor pressure systems. (Managed from Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth).
• Non-Destructive Testing by personnel certificated to a recognised certification scheme, for Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and
• IRIS/CENTEST Tube Inspection. (Managed from Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth, Motherwell, Teesside and Ellesmere Port)

Inspection activities managed from other company offices and activities that are not UKAS accredited, are managed using the same system to the same high standard.and BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000. 

The Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth Testing Laboratory’s are accredited to this standard by UKAS.

Aberdeen Registration No. 2435 (Initial Accreditation 18th October 2001).

Great Yarmouth Registration No. 1346 (Initial accreditation 26 May 1993).

The Metallurgical Laboratory and Mechanical Test House Facilities at Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth are extensively equipped and able to provide full material testing services, including Mechanical Testing, Chemical Analysis and Metallurgical Testing Services.
