MB Inspection operates two laboratories offering a wide range of testing and analytical services.

These include:

• Mechanical testing and specimen preparation.
• Charpy impact tests, hardness testing and corrosion testing.

Analytical work includes:

• Metallographic examinations.
• Chemical analysis.

MBI Laboratory services also include development of weld procedures, material selection and welder qualification and certification. This means we can not only determine why failure occurred; we can offer solutions to the problem.

These services extend to the field with failure analysis, field metallography and replication work.
